SUMMER SCHEDULE & THEMES
June 12-16 Nature Week – Learn to identify animal habitats, insects and blooms at Airlie Gardens. Enjoy a private tour with the Master Gardener at NH County Arboretum.
June 19-23 Farm Life – Learn about farm at Poplar Grove Plantation and McFaye’s Farm. Enjoy a pony ride, animals & hayride
June 26-30. NC History – From civil war to first in flight, learn it all through visiting the USS NC Battleship, Wilmington Train Museum and a Carriage Ride through downtown Wilmington
July 3-7* Stars & Stripes – Learn about US History, decorate a float and “parade” through the neighborhood finishing the week with a “Party In the USA”
July 10-14 Time Travel – Learn about Dinosaurs, Mummies, Knights and Pirates! Meet a knight at Medieval Times in Myrtle Beach
July 17-21 Ecosystem – Learn about our ocean and inlet ecosystem at the Carolina Coastal Foundation. Enjoy a boat ride to study the uninhabited Masonboro Island during our trip with Carolina Ocean Studies tour
July 24-28 Blast off into Summer – Learn about the planets, stars during our take a trip to the Ingram Planetarium and Museum. Learn about rockets with an on-site visit from Cape Fear History Museum
July 31– Aug 4 Summer Scientist – Learn all about the science during a trip to Wonderwork along with a full week of classroom experiments.
Aug 7-11 Art – Learn many genres of art as we visit Wild Child Art Studio and host our own gallery for family and friends to attend
Aug 14-18 Animal Kingdom – Take a walk on the wild side with a visit to the zoo! Learn during an on-site educational lesson about reptiles
Aug 21-25 Oceanography – We will study currents, tides and ocean marine life, during our trip to the Aquarium. We will visit Fort Fisher for Sandcastle building and shell hunting.

$25 deposit per week is required to secure any desired week.
