2025 SUMMER SCHEDULE & THEMES
June 9 - 13 NC History – From civil war to first in flight, learn it all through visiting the Fort Fisher Historic Site and Southport Maritime Museum
June 16 - 20 Summer Scientist – Learn all about the science during a trip to the NC Museum of Life and Science along with a full week of classroom experiments and onsite demonstrations
June 23 - 27 Farm Life - We will be visiting and volunteering at Rise Up Farm to learn how to take care of a garden. We will also visit Agape Farm to learn all about farm animals.
*June 30 - July 3 Spirit Week – Learn about US History, fun daily themes, finish the week by decorating a float and “parade” through the neighborhood followed by a July 4th dance party “Party In the USA”
July 7 - 11 Medieval Times – Learn about the daily lives of Kings, Queens, Knights and Princesses! Meet a knight at Medieval Times in Myrtle Beach and enjoy the end of the week's Renaissance Festival (onsite)
July 14 - 18 Culinary Quest – Students will learn how to prepare a different entree for lunch each day, plate presentation, and create fun snacks. They will tour Cape Fear Community College Culinary Arts for a Catering Cuisine class.
July 21 - 25 Under the Sea - Take a dive under the sea to find the mysteries of the ocean. We will visit the sea turtles at Karen Beasley Turtle Rescue Center and learn all about other sea creatures that are in our local beaches at Fort Fisher Aquarium.
July 28 - Aug 1 Pirate Week – Argh Mates! We will learn all about pirates and even find our own treasure. We may even meet a fellow pirate on the Pirate Adventure Cruise. We will also be playing mini golf together at Shipwreck Mini Golf.
Aug 4 - 8 Adventure Explorers - Love where you live! We will be exploring all things Wilmington this week. We will be skating at Scooters, Bouncing at Bounce, Rock Climbing, Movies, Bowling and more.
Aug 11 - 15 Nature Week – Learn to identify animal habitats, insects and blooms at Airlie Gardens and look for Venus Fly traps at Carolina Beach State Park. We will also enjoy a fun lesson on weather wonders from Cape Fear Science Museum (onsite) and have a scavenger hunt at Hanover Pines Nature Park.
Aug 18 - 22 Art Week – Learn many genres of art as we visit Wild Child Art Studio and host our own gallery for family and friends to attend.

$25 deposit per week is required to secure any desired week.
